Hovhannisyan keeps lead at World Junior Chess Championship

Armenian grandmaster Robert Hovhannisyan keeps the lead at the World Junior Chess Championship going on in Chennai, India.

Hovhannisyan has gained 10 points, coming 0.5 ahead of his main rival, Dariusz Swiercz of Poland. Another Armenian grandmaster Samvel Ter-sahakyan is currebtly 3rd with 8.5 points.

Among girls, Maria Gevorgyan is 53rd with 5 points. Russia’s Olga Girya tops the standings with 10.5 points.
