15 million more Android devices activated worldwide

When Google announced its acquisition of Motorola on August 15, it also stated that more than 150 million Android devices have been activated worldwide with over 550,000 devices now lit very day in 123 countries.

These numbers shows 15 million grow comparing with July statistics’ 135 million activated devices worldwide.

Google bought Motorola Mobility for $40.00 per share in cash, or a total of about $12.5 billion, a premium of 63% to the closing price of Motorola Mobility. With this step, Google plans to supercharge the Android ecosystem.
