Los Angeles beat Sochi (Russia) 93-86 in the final of the basketball tournament of the 5th Pan-Armenian Games in Yerevan on August 21.

Team member Vahram Hamayakian told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that after a defeat by Sochi in 2007, they wanted a rematch. “It wasn’t’ an easy game. We have been training for 3 months and reached our goal,” he said.
