17% of Twitter users tweet as they have a lot to say

Lab42 research and survey company made an infographic that asks 500 Twitter users how they use the service, how they determine who to follow and a whole lot more.

According to their infographic, 37% of users access Twitter multiple times a day, 33% access daily, 19% a few time per week, 5% a few times per month and 6% rarely/never.

Infographic also shows that 64% users go on twitter through web version Twitter.com, 16% through mobile application and only 10% though twitter clients like Tweetdeck or Hootsuite.

The users also said how often they tweet. 42% say they tweet more than once per day, 23% daily, 17% a few times per week, 9% a few times per month, 9% rarely/never.

Asked why they are on Twitter, 33% of 500 users answered that they registered as friends recommended, 30% to see what is was all about, 17% have a lot to say or to tweet about, 15% to follow celebrities and finally 5% they do as it’s a class project/requirement, Mashable reported.
