OPCW appreciates cooperation with Armenia

Newly appointed ambassador of Armenia to the Organization for Prohibition for Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Dzyunik Aghajanyan, who is also Armenia’s ambassador to the Netherlands, handed credentials to the director of the Organization Ahmet Üzümcü, reported the press office of the RA Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, Mr. Üzümcü highly appreciated collaboration with Armenia, stressing that the country completely fulfilled its obligations under the relevant convention.

The parties also discussed issues still pending for settlement.

Amb. Aghajanyan underscored the significance of regional cooperation in MDW nonproliferation and creation of flexible mechanisms to resist the existing challenges.
