A Yerevan-hosted clash between IBO bantamweight champion Vic Darchinyan and challenger Evans Mbamba will become the highlight of September 3 boxing event, which will see 4 more combats.

All participants of the event underwent a weigh-in on September 2. Azat Hovhannisyan (Armenia) was 55kg 30gr while his rival, Sergei Pasimov of Lithuania came at 55kg 25gr. The opponents will clash at a 4-round boxing match.

Gabriel Tolmajian, to face off against Estonia’s Yevgeni Fedorov in an 8-round match, was 60kg 800gr, while the challenger came in light, at 60kg 100gr. Hovhannes Zhamkochyan and Mikhail Gogoashvili of Georgia were 60kg 900gr and 60kg 700gr respectively.

The event will also feature female boxers, with an Armenian-born Agnesa Boza to combat Marina Sakharova of France.
