On September 6, the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) Board reduced the refinancing interest rate by 0,5 pct, setting it at 5.50%.

CBA Board noted uncertain prospects in global economy, caused by financial disbalance in developed countries.

According to CBA Board, inflation developments of recent months correspond to 2011 monetary and credit policy program directions specified earlier, CBA press service reported.
