Azerbaijan’s political expert Elman Nasirli’s statements on legal grounds for unlashing warfare against Karabakh are the next manifestation of propagandistic warfare.

Russian political expert Andrey Areshev told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that such statements undermine the already ailing relationships in the region. Areshev considers Azerbaijan’s statements on urging Armenia to peace through mediators as weird, “as Azerbaijan knows the reason of Kazan meeting failure.” The expert also stressed the nonconstructivity of such an approach in a conflict settlement.

“The more of such statements the less possibility of reaching peaceful resolution of conflict,” according to the expert.

As to Nasirli’s statement on legal grounds for warfare, particularly the UNO Charter’s 51st article, Areshev emphasized that the Charter must be viewed as a set and not be subjected to fragmentary citing. “It is word juggling,” he added.
