Turkey again signals willingness to interfere in Karabakh process

The Nagorno Karabakh conflict is the main obstacle for creation of a favorable atmosphere in the South Caucasus, Turkish President said.

“Turkey is interested in stability and welfare of the region and is ready to lend a helping hand to resolve the problem,” Abdullah Gul said in an interview with Russian daily Moskovskiy Komsomolets.

He also noted that Karabakh conflict settlement will be positive for establishment of neighborly relations with Armenia. “My country is interested in normalization of relations with Armenia and establishment of lasting peace in the region,” Gul said.
