Arab League to discuss Palestine UN bid

Palestine’s bid for the United Nations to get international recognition and accepting it as a full fledged member based on the borders of the June 4, 1967 will be among the main topics related to the Palestinian cause on the agenda of the Arab League Council, Oman Tribune reported.

Chairman of the 136th session of the Arab League Council Sheikh Khalifa Bin Ali Al Harthy said Arab foreign ministers will discuss a number of issues, the foremost of which is the Palestine cause and the Arab-Israeli conflict.

“The Arab foreign ministers will also listen to a special report from Dr. Nabil Al Arabi, Secretary-General of the Arab League, on his visit to Damascus, as well as his talks with the Syrian officials on the League’s initiative for the Syrian crisis,” Al Harthy said.
