Lukashenko: Belarusian-Armenian relations reached advanced level

Belarus and Armenia have reached an advanced level in the development of trade and economic and political relations, said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko as he met with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on September 12.

“Belarus and Armenia are enjoying close economic cooperation,” BelTA quoted the Belarusian leader as saying.

According to the RA MFA press office, during their meeting the two men discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation. “Top-level mutual visits, economic cooperation and close parliamentary ties help cement relations between Armenia and Belarus,” the ministerial statement said.

Minister Nalbandian also met with his counterpart Sergey Martynov to discuss further steps for strengthening cooperation, specifically, implementation of decrees signed by Presidents of Armenia and Belarus.
