Armenia’s newly appointed ambassador to UK assumes duties

On September 12, Karine Kazinian Armenia’s newly appointed ambassador to UK handed the copy of her credentials to Simon Martin, Director of Protocol at the British Foreign Office.

During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral relations, stressing the necessity of fostering political dialogue between Armenia and Great Britain, RA MFA press service reported.

Karine Kazinian was appointed as Armenia’s ambassador to UK by President Serzh Sargsyan’s September 8 decree. By the same decree she was relieved of the post of Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs she occupied since 2009. Prior to that, she served as Armenia’s ambassador to Germany.
