Arsen Julfalakyan wins world bronze

Armenia’s Greco-Roman wreslter Arsen Julfalakyan (74kg) won bronze at the World Wrestling Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, to qualify for the 2012 London Olympics.

After a defeat in 1/8 final, Julfalakyan beat Petros Manoulidis of Greece and Jure Kuhar of Slovenia and won the fight against Askhat Dilmukhamedov of Kazakhstan to grab the bronze medal.

Armenian freestyle wrestlers Mihran Jaburyan (55kg), Ashot Terteryan (60kg), David Safaryan (66kg), Musa Murtazaliyev (74kg), Hajimurat Nurmagomedov (84kg), Harutyun Yenokyan (96kg) and Ruslan Basiyev (120kg) will enter the competition on September 16.
