Armenia’s Aghasi Aghasyan won gold at the European Under-23 and Junior Weightlifting Championships in Bucharest, Romania.

Lifting 148kg in the snatch and 180kg in the clean & jerk, Aghasyan won the title with a total of 328kg.

Armenian-born Alexander Safaryan of Russia finished 2nd with a total of 327kg.
