Freestyle wrestler Mihran Jaburyan (55kg) will start his performance in the 1/16 finals of the World Wrestling Championships in Istanbul on September 16 to face Viktor Lebedev of Russia.

The Armenian freestyle wrestling team also includes Ashot Terteryan (60kg), David Safaryan (66kg), Musa Murtazaliyev (74kg), Hajimurat Nurmagomedov (84kg), Harutyun Yenokyan (96kg) and Ruslan Basiyev (120kg).

The wrestlers to take 1-5th places will qualify for the 2012 London Olympics.
