Poll: Yerevan people have long missed such festive atmosphere

On September 21 Yerevan’s Republic Square will host a grandiose military parade dedicated to the 20th anniversary of proclamation of Armenia’s independence.

According to the polls, conducted by a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the majority of Yerevan’s people are happy for the festive events. According to them “the city has long missed being so crowded and joyous.”

The only discontent is the traffic jams, with the central roads being blocked on September 17 and 19. However, the respondents noted that during parades jams are common even in the largest cities of the world.

There were people who were not happy with either the coming military parade or the festive events. Their position is based on the fact that “with today’s hard social conditions parades and other events are extravagances.” However, the number of supporters of this idea was not big.

A range of surprises promised by the organizers of the military parade on September 21, dedicated to 2nd anniversary of Armenia’s independence became known.

Among them is the demonstration of drones “Crane” made in Armenia. In addition, rocket systems of volley fire Tornado will participate in the parade.

In the rehearsal of the military parade on September 17 it became known that the parade will also demonstrate zenithal rocket systems S300. The heavy track-type techniques will be carried to the square on high speed wheeled trailers.
