Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad congratulated his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan on 20th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia.

“Cultural and historic ties between Armenia and Iran created vast possibilities for strengthening of bilateral ties. I’m confident that agreements singed in Tehran and Yerevan will largely contribute to the development of both regional and international relations,” Ahmadinejad stressed in his statement.
