Russia willing to allow hemp growing

State Anti-Drug Committee of the Russian Federation will examine on September 28, the question of removing ban from narcotic-free hemp cultivation for agricultural and industrial uses.

According to the web site of Federal Service of the Russian Federation for Narcotics Traffic Control “It is important to differ narcotic containing from agricultural narcotic free hemp. In the 60s there wasn’t such division an as a resul one of the leading branches of agriculture was destroyed.”

Presently cultivation of any sorts of hemp in the territory of Russia is prohibited.
