Armenian wins Dutch TV show for refugees

A Dutch television launched a series of programs titled “Out of the Netherlands” for foreign citizens who were rejected asylum in the country.

According to Vesti FM radio station, during the show 5 refugees competing for the 4000-euro prize had to sing Dutch songs and carve the contour of the map of the Netherlands from cheese.

In the final, an Armenian native Kurdin Gulistyan prevailed over Chechen Sabina Hajiyeva to be gifted a case with money, which, as the show presenter said, “will be useful in his new life in the homeland where he will soon be deported.”
