Serzh Sargsyan will be legally elected for second term – RPA member

The current President of Armenia is too weak and will need resources of former leaders Robert Kocharian and Levon Ter-Petrossian to be re-elected, according to chairman of the Union of Political Analysts.

“Because of the failures of the government and Prime Minister, President Sargsyan’s positions have considerably weakened,” Hmayak Hovhannisyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

For his part, member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Hovhannes Sahakyan disagreed, noting that President Sargsyan’s recourses are enough to be legally elected for second term.
