Lebanese Speaker to visit Armenia

Lebanese parliament Speaker Nabih Berri will head to Iran to participate in the 5th International Conference to Support the Palestinian Intifada on October 1 and 2, said a statement released by the speaker’s office.

It added that Loyalty to the Resistance bloc leader MP Mohammad Raad and Dashnaktsutyun Party MP Arthur Nazarian, who heads the Lebanese-Armenian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, will accompany Berri on his trip to the Islamic republic.

Also, according to the statement, the speaker will travel to Armenia on an official visit, during which he will meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to discuss bilateral relations, Now Lebanon reported.
