Bravo Armenia: Armenian squad scores a crucial 4:1 win vs. Macedonia

The second half of Armenia vs. Macedonia UEFA EURO 2012 Group B qualifier started with Armenia in the lead.

With a number of missed targets on both sides , saves and score efforts, Macedonia player handed a yellow card, Armenia’s Gevorg Ghazaryan scored the 3rd goal 69 minutes into the game. Vlade Lazarevski’s delivering the corner was followed by the only goal of Macedonia, by Vance Sikov who scored 87 minutes into the game. However, Armenia squad put the additional time (2 min) to a good use, completing the game with the 4th goal by Artur Sarkisov.

Armenia won a 4:1 victory to gain 17 points, catching up with Russia team which will face off against hosting Slovakia at 11:15 p.m. Yerevan time. Andorra will clash against Ireland (15 points). On October 11, Armenia will play its last game as a part of Group B vs. the hosting Ireland.
