Iran's Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar will pay a visit to Armenia in November, his deputy announced.

Deputy Interior Minister for International Affairs Mehdi Mohammadi-Fard told Fars News Agency that Najjar is due to travel to Armenia on November 6.

The two-day visit will take place at the invitation of Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan, Mohammadi-Fard said.

During the visit, Najjar will meet with senior Armenian officials to discuss bilateral ties and cooperation in various fields. Cooperation over security, border and economic issues is said to be high on the agenda of talks between the two sides during Najjar's upcoming visit to Armenia.
