EX-PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN ABULFAZ ELCHIBEY HAS DECEASED
22.08.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The ex-president of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Elchibey has deceased today morning in Ankara, the capital of Turkey.
As Russian agencies report, the ex-president was undergoing a course of medical treatment in "Gyulhane" military-medical academy of the Turkish army. There are no official reports on what had caused Elchibey's death. It's known though that he had been ill with cancer. -0-
