Armenia is and will be an industrial state, with the country's government taking all efforts to promote an export-oriented industry, according to Economy Minister.

As Tigran Davtyan stated at Republican Party of Armenia (RPA)-hosted economic conference, “an unprecedented 13% of industry growth was achieved in the framework of governmental post-crisis program for economy stimulation.”

“In the long-term perspective, a concept of strategic development policy will be worked out to promote export-oriented industry, thus boosting competitiveness of the local economy in the world market,” the Minister concluded.
