Planes with humanitarian aid collide in Erzurum airport

Georgian and Kyrgyz planes carrying humanitarian aid collided in Turkey’s Erzurum Airport.

The Georgian plane was on the runway when a landing Kyrgyz plane crashed into it. The Georgian plane had no crew at the crash moment.

Preliminary reports say the accident was caused by Kyrgyz pilot. A special commission was assigned to investigate the incident, Georgia Online reports.

The Georgian and Kyrgyz planes carried humanitarian aid for earthquake-struck population of east Turkey. Over 600 people died and 200 were saved from the earthquake.
