MATERIALIZATION OF "STABILITY PACT" DEPENDS ON PEACE IN CAUCASUS, STATES THE TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTER
27.07.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The discussion on the "Stability Pact" for the Caucasian region became one of the main highlights of the negotiations of the foreign ministers of Turkey and Georgia - Ismail Cem and Irakli Menagarishvili, held in Ankara.
Ismail Cem stated that with his Georgian counterpart they discussed the perspectives of the later development of the idea of "Caucasian Stability Pact", reports Anatolian news agency. Yet, stated the Turkish minister, the materialization of the pact depends on peace in Caucasus. -0-
