Japanese Ambassador to Armenia aims to further bilateral ties

A newly-appointed Japanese Ambassador to Armenia, Tikahito Harada (residence in Moscow) submitted copies of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

At the meeting, the parties mutually stressed the importance of bilateral relations, with the Ambassador expressing readiness to contribute to development of ties.

Mr. Harada went on to thank Armenian government for the assistance extended after March 2011 earthquake in Japan.

The discussion further focused on cooperation in the sectors of economy, trade, culture, with the parties also dwelling on regional and international issues, Armenian Foreign Ministry press service reported.
