Armenia welcomes strengthening ties with Norway, with the agreement on bilateral political consultations to contribute to further cooperation, Armenian Foreign Minister stated.

Edward Nalbandian told a news conference in Yerevan that Armenia-Norway agreement on lifting visa requirements for diplomatic figures was signed on November 9.

Commenting on a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question whether the agreement will be followed by a general visa regime cancellation, Mr. Nalbandian noted that visa regime facilitation with Schengen countries is negotiated within Eastern Partnership program framework.
