Armenia will face off against the Netherlands in the 8th round of Porto Carras-hosted European Team Chess Championship.

The board pairings were announced as follows: Levon Aronian - Anish Giri, Sergei Movsesian - Loek Van Wely, Vladimir Akopian - Ivan Sokolov, Gabriel Sargissian - Daniel Stellwagen.

After the 7th round, Armenia is placed 2nd with 18 points; Netherlands is 7th with 15,5 points.

The board pairings for women’s team vs. Serbia are as follows: Elina Danielian - Natasa Bojkovic, Lilit Mkrtchian - Irina Chelushkina, Lilit Galoyan - Andjelija Stojanovic, Maria Kursova - Ljilja Drljevic.

Armenia women’s team dropped to the 10th place with 14,5 points.
