Social Innovation Camp (Mardamej) completed yesterday, November 20.

Out of the 6 projects introduced during the SICamp, Public transport timetable project by Lilit Manukyan was awarded USD 4000.

This project has brought together 6 enthusiasts to create mytransport.am project that provides information on transport timetable.

One of the participants Sergey Sargsyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that creation of an information database will be the team’s next initiative.

In an interview with PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Mardamej SICamp Director Manana Aslamazyan noted that other two grants initiated by organizer/sponsors will be awarded to projects to be worked out and introduced as a grant candidate.

“I am very pleased with SICamp results. I think more time should be devoted to the event preparation such as organizing seminars for the participants,” Manana Aslamazyan said.

Mardamej SICamp is financed by UNDP and USAID with contribution by Internews Armenia and imitators of SICamp.
