NCFA head proposes development of business tourism

The head of National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) believes Armenia possesses significant potential for development of tourism industry.

In this context, Arman Khachatryan stressed the necessity of developing business tourism that envisages holding of conferences and international forums in Armenia.

Mr. Khachatryan noted that relevant infrastructures should be developed to ensure tourist inflow in all seasons of the year.

“Armenia possesses infrastructures that meet the international standards, Tsaghkadzor for instance. Development of international marketing will ensure tourists’ inflow to the country,” NCFA Executive Director said during the November 28 meeting with representatives of tourism industry.
