Transport travel restrictions were imposed at several check points including Upper Lars, located at Russian-Georgian border.

According to Georgian media reports, restrictions will be valid till the end of winter, with the movement of heavy vehicles rendered dangerous because of severe cold.

No improvement is expected till Dec 2.
