On November 28, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with spiritual leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, Armenian President gave high assessment to the efforts of spiritual leaders in peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict. As the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh stated in this context, any step towards the establishment of peace is a major achievement, and as he repeatedly told Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, renewal of war is not a solution to the conflict.

During the meeting, Armenian President awarded Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill II with Mesrop Mastots medal for a major contribution to strengthening of friendly tires between the people of Armenia and Russia.
