ARMENIAN AND AZERI LEADERS SATISFIED THEIR FIRST MEETING IN GENEVA
We did not discuss any concrete plan of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, Armenian President Robert Kocharian told journalists upon completion of the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev lasting hour and a half. In his words, the first meeting had an acknowledging character. "We tried to analyze the new situation created around the negotiation process and recall everything Armenia and Azerbaijan discussed during the last several years", - R. Kocharian said. At the same time he expressed satisfaction with the meeting and noted the sincerity of the dialogue. In his turn Azeri President I. Aliyev stated that a "very useful exchange of opinions took place". "I view the fact of our meeting as positive and possessing certain consecution. Armenia and Azerbaijan do have the desire to settle the Karabakh problem", - I. Aliyev stated.
