Junior Eurovision 2011: heights conquered

European Broadcasting Union (EBU) praised the organisers of Junior Eurovision 2011 in Armenia.

“I'm proud of the work accomplished. The Public Television of Armenia and the EBU did a wonderful job,” Supervisor of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest Sietse Bakker said.

“This year, Junior Eurovision appeared in a completely new light, and I thank the Public Television of Armenia for bringing a fresh spirit to the contest,” the Supervisor stressed.

Representatives of over 80 media agencies and TV companies worldwide arrived in Armenia to cover the event. Junior Eurovision media officer Jarmo Siim thanked Armenian journalists involved in the coverage of the event, with representatives of other agencies noting the contest to have justified their best expectations.

With Reach for the Top as the contest slogan, the Junior Eurovision succeeded in conquering the heights.
