On December 12, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met the speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Samvel Nikoyan.

President Sahakyan congratulated Nikoyan, wishing him success on his new post.

Issues related to the cooperation between the two Armenian states were discussed during the meeting.

Strengthening of the inter-parliamentary cooperation was stressed in promoting domestic and foreign policy.

Later, the meeting continued in an enlarged format with members of the Armenian National Assembly attending.

Speaker of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan and other officials partook in the meeting, Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh President reported.
