Head of Armenian Weightlifting Federation Samvel Khachatryan said Armenian team will include more than 20 athletes at 2012 London Olympic Games.

“I’m sure that in London Armenian athletes will perform much better than in Beijing, where we won 6 bronze medals,” said Khachatryan.

According to him, on April 6-12 Armenian athletes will participate in 2012 European Championships to be held in Antalya, Turkey. The team, however, will not put up its strongest composition, since the leading athletes will be training for the Olympics.
