A protest action being held in from of Russian embassy in Yerevan expresses solidarity to Russian opposition, whose rally “For Fair Elections” kicked off in Moscow today at 2:00pm.

One of the activists, citizen of Armenia Anton Ischenko told journalists the campaign is meant to depict how elections are held in Russia and Armenia and demand free and fair elections.

Some 10 activists staged the voting process before the Embassy: two garbage cans with inscribed Armenian and Russian coats of arms are used as ballot boxes, where people throw ballot papers.

According to organizers, about 50 thousand people took to the streets in Moscow to protest the outcomes of the Dec 4 parliamentary election outcomes.
