Today, December 26, Israel’s Knesset Committee for Education, Culture and Sports headed by Knesset member Alex Miller is debating the issue of introduction of Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day.

Though the proposal was voiced eight months ago its debate was delayed to December 26.

Following the passage of the bill criminalizing Armenian Genocide denial by the French National Assembly, Ankara recalled its ambassador from France.
