Turkish policemen were banned from using social networks and blogs, specifically, Facebook, during their work hours.

With 6000 police officers revealed to be using social networks, the ban was imposed to prevent a leak of secret information.

However, the policemen are free to use the website outside work, Azeri media reports, citing Turkish sources.
