Armenia chess team tied the game vs. Russia in the last, 9th round of FIDE Women's World Team Championship to gain the 6th place.

China won the championship gold with 14 points, followed by Russia and India (13 and 11 points resp.)

Ukraine and Georgia scored 10 points each to gain 4 and 5th places resp. Vietnam came 7th, with Greece, Turkey, South Africa gaining 8-10 places.
