The Caucasus Institute director rules out the possibility of U.S.- Iran war in the nearest future.

“Latest development aren’t related to U.S. preparations for the war due to its being nonsense for American elite particularly before elections,” Alexander Iskandaryan told a press conference.

The expert explained ongoing developments by urging Iran to thwart its nuclear program, linking pressure on Tehran with current events in Syria, as well as West’s intention to create favorable climate there.

Iskandaryan assessed U.S. continued threats on Iran as a tool of political pressure.
