Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan addressed a letter of condolences to the family and friends of legendary Soviet intelligence agent Gevork Vartanian, who died at 87 in a Moscow hospital.

In his letter, President Sargsyan noted Gevork Vartanian's selfless service to his native land, confessing to have retained the warmest memories of the great patriot.
