Armenia, Azerbaijan to abandon extreme views?

During a trilateral meeting in Sochi, Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan stressed the need to continue efforts on approximating their positions, Russian Foreign Minister said.

“The sides stressed the need to abandon extreme views to achieve further progress,” RIA Novosti quoted Sergei Lavrov as saying.

“The presidents voiced readiness to speed up development of common principles to further shift to working out of law-binding peace agreement,” Russian FM said, adding that “Russia will further efforts on approximating positions of the conflicting parties in the capacity of OSCE Minsk Group mediator.”
