Baku to host 2012 Eurovision final on May 26

On January 25, capital of Azerbaijan Baku hosted semi-final allocation draw for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.

The contenders were divided into two semi-finals following the draw, Armenia to perform in the second one, to be held in Baku on May 24.

Italy, Spain, Azerbaijan will vote in the first semifinal, due on May 22.

France, Ukraine, Germany will vote in the second semifinal.

The participants from 18 countries - Montenegro, Iceland, Moldova, Cyprus, Romania, Austria, Albania, Denmark, Russia, Belgium, Latvia, San Marino, Switzerland, Finland, Israel, Greece, Ireland, Hungary will partake in the first semifinal to be held in Baku on May 22.

The participants from the remaining 19 countries - Serbia, Sweden, Georgia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Macedonia, Estonia, Belarus, Turkey, Malta, Slovakia, Croatia, Norway, Ukraine, Armenia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Bosnia Herzegovina will set to participate in the second semifinal due on May 24.

Eurovision 2012 final is scheduled for May 26, Trend reported.
