Brussels hosted the 8th plenary sitting on Association Agreement talks. Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, the European one - by European Commission's Director for Russia, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia and Regional Cooperation, Mr. Gunnar Wiegand.

According to RA Foreign Affairs Ministry, Armenia witnessed notable progress in Association Agreement.

The sides agreed to start talks on visa regime facilitation at the end of February, 2012, launching negotiations on free trade zone creation already at the next plenary session.
