Launch of DCFTA talks discussed at Armenian government

Armenian government hosted a meeting on preparation for Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) with the EU talks, chaired by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.

“The meeting is aimed at discussing implementation of our commitments. We are also getting ready for Armenian President’s visit to Brussels, during which the launch of the negotiations will be announced,” governmental press service quoted PM as sating.

Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan, in turn, noted February 5 as termination date of assessment of works carried out by Armenia, to be followed by meeting of a relevant supreme body during which the country’s readiness for launch of talks on joining DCFTA will be discussed.
