Vanes “Nightmare” Martirosyan (31-0, 19KOs) is in Texas ready to face Troy “TNT” Lowry (28-11, 17KOs) on the undercard of Top Rank’s “Welcome to the Future” fight card.

The main event will feature a doubleheader with a WBC middleweight title bout with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (44-0-1, 31KOs) vs. Marco Antonio Rubio (53-5-1, 46KOs) and Nonito Donaire (27-1, 18KOs) vs. Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. (21-1-1, 18KOs) in the junior featherweight division. The main event will air on HBO World Championship Boxing at 9pm central.

This will be a title defense for Martirosyan, but Vanes has made it resoundingly clear he is ready, able and willing to step up to anyone in his division. All that is needed is a fight to be set up and an opponent to accept his challenge. So far, there have been no takers, HyeFighters.com reported.
