Deputy defense minister of Armenia Artur Aghabekian today confirmed Armenia's readiness to participate in "Cooperative Best Effort -2004" to be held within NATO "Partnership for Peace" program in the territory of Azerbaijan. At that he reported Armenia had not received an official NATO invitation yet. If Azerbaijan comes against participation of Armenian military in the maneuvers, the issue of holding the exercise in some other country may arise, the deputy minister noted.
